Kushtia Medical College
Kushtia Medical College is a Government Medical College located in the district of Kushtia, Bangladesh, established in 2011. Initially, this institution was affiliated with Rajshahi University. Now it is affiliated with Khulna Medical University.
The academic activities of Kushtia Medical College began in the building of the “Medical Assistant Training School” (MATS), Kushtia. In 2022, all the activities of the Medical College were shifted to a new and permanent campus. The new campus is located beside the Kushtia-Dhaka highway and opposite to the housing E block.
A 5-year MBBS course has been running since its inception. So far, 14 batches have been admitted. Fifty students were admitted in the first batch on November 5, 2011, and their classes began on January 7, 2012. With the gradual increase, now 100 students are being admitted in each batch.
The official journal of Kushtia Medical College is called KuMCJ . The journal is published twice a year.

Quiz Competition – KMC Departments
The KMC Departmental Quiz Competition is an academic initiative designed to enhance medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and teamwork among students and professionals of Kustia Medical College.
This competition will include quiz rounds based on core subjects, clinical cases, image-based questions, recent medical guidelines, and practical decision-making, covering the respective departments of KMC.
The event aims to:
Encourage active learning and healthy academic competition
Improve clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills
Promote inter-departmental collaboration
Enhance confidence in evidence-based medical practice
Participants will compete in a structured, time-bound format under the supervision of experienced faculty members. Certificates and awards will be provided to recognize excellence and participation.
