Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College
The Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College (SOMC) is a government medical school in Bangladesh, established in 1962. It is located in Sylhet. Originally named “Sylhet Medical College”, it was renamed in 1986 in the honour of General Muhammad Ataul Gani Osmani, commander-in-chief of Bangladesh Army during the Bangladesh War of Independence of 1971. The college is affiliated with Sylhet Medical University.

The SOMCH Departmental Quiz Competition is an academic initiative designed to enhance medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and teamwork among students and professionals of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College & Hospital (SOMCH).
This competition will include quiz rounds based on core subjects, clinical cases, image-based questions, recent medical guidelines, and practical decision-making, covering the respective departments of SOMCH.
The event aims to:

Participants will compete in a structured, time-bound format under the supervision of experienced faculty members. Certificates and awards will be provided to recognize excellence and participation.
