Habiganj Medical College
Habiganj Medical College, is a public medical college in Habiganj, Bangladesh founded in 2017. It was affiliated with the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology until 2019-20. Currently it is affiliated with Sylhet Medical University. The college’s first batch of students began their first term on January 10, 2018, on its temporary campus of Habiganj Sadar Hospital, with 250 beds. On 10 January 2018, the medical college started its educational activities with 51 students.

Quiz Competition – HMC Departments
The CMC Departmental Quiz Competition is an academic initiative designed to enhance medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and teamwork among students and professionals of Habiganj Medical College.
This competition will include quiz rounds based on core subjects, clinical cases, image-based questions, recent medical guidelines, and practical decision-making, covering the respective departments of HMC.
The event aims to:
Encourage active learning and healthy academic competition
Improve clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills
Promote inter-departmental collaboration
Enhance confidence in evidence-based medical practice
Participants will compete in a structured, time-bound format under the supervision of experienced faculty members. Certificates and awards will be provided to recognize excellence and participation.
