Satkhira Medical College
Satkhira Medical College (SMC) is a public medical school in Bangladesh, established in 2011. It is located in the south-western city of Satkhira in Khulna Division.
It offers a five-year medical education course leading to an MBBS degree. A one-year internship after graduation is compulsory for all graduates. The degree is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
The college is associated with the 500-bed Satkhira Medical College Hospital.
Journal of Satkhira Medical College is the official journal of the medical college.

Quiz Competition – SMC Departments
The SMC Departmental Quiz Competition is an academic initiative designed to enhance medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and teamwork among students and professionals of Satkhira Medical College.
This competition will include quiz rounds based on core subjects, clinical cases, image-based questions, recent medical guidelines, and practical decision-making, covering the respective departments of SMC.
The event aims to:

Improve clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills
Promote inter-departmental collaboration
Enhance confidence in evidence-based medical practice
Participants will compete in a structured, time-bound format under the supervision of experienced faculty members. Certificates and awards will be provided to recognize excellence and participation.
